It was during my training in Basal Implantology in Nice that I met Philippe Cotten. Graduating together in 2 years, we became course assistants and surgical anatomy monitors. Our collaboration extended to interventions on atrophic maxillae worldwide, and we presented our cases at major conferences in Nice, Munich, Barcelona, and Lviv. Our innovative ideas, such as the ring-screw system that I initiated or implant prosthetic components facilitating CAD-CAM digital prosthesis manufacturing, invented by Philippe, are shared with Dr. Scortecci to enhance clinical practice. Collaborating with Philippe, a great Implantology surgeon, is a real pleasure.
